TOPIC 02 // HOT & COLD AISLE CONTAINMENT

Rigid Thermal Containment & Dynamic Airflow Isolation

Prevent the bypass mixing of cold supply air and hot server exhaust air. By completely sealing either the Cold Aisle or Hot Aisle with transparent ceiling panels, sliding end doors, and blanking plates, we increase PAC cooling efficiency and lower total data center PUE to sub-1.15 levels.

TOPIC 03 // IN-ROW LIQUID COOLING & HIGH-DENSITY HPC

In-Row Chilled Water Units & Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling

Cool high-density AI clusters, GPU servers, and blade enclosures exceeding 30kW per rack. Placed directly alongside server cabinets, In-Row cooling units capture hot air at the source, while Direct-to-Chip (DLC) liquid cooling cold-plates circulate coolant directly over high-TDP processors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Technical answers regarding Precision AC vs Comfort AC, Aisle Containment PUE benefits, high-density AI rack cooling, and EC fan energy efficiency.

1. What is the difference between Comfort Air Conditioning and Data Center Precision Air Conditioning (PAC)?
Comfort AC is designed for human comfort, operating intermittently with high latent (humidity removal) cooling. Data Center Precision AC (PAC) is designed for 24/7/365 continuous operation with high sensible heat ratios (SHR > 0.90), precise temperature (±1°C) and humidity control (±5%), and high CFM airflow to cool electronic equipment without drying out components.
2. How does Hot / Cold Aisle Containment lower Data Center PUE?
Without containment, cold supply air mixes with hot server exhaust air, forcing PAC units to operate at lower supply temperatures (18°C) to keep servers cool. Containment completely separates airflows, allowing PAC units to supply warmer air (24°C) while maintaining server intake temperatures, which increases chiller efficiency and reduces cooling energy spend by up to 40%.
3. How do you cool high-density AI and GPU server racks generating over 30 kW of heat?
For racks above 20 kW-30 kW, traditional raised-floor perimeter cooling is insufficient. We deploy close-coupled In-Row cooling units or Direct-to-Chip (DLC) liquid cold-plates that circulate chilled fluid directly over high-TDP GPUs (Nvidia H100/H200), dissipating extreme heat loads with minimal thermal resistance.
4. What are EC (Electronically Commutated) fans and why are they recommended for PAC units?
EC fans use brushless DC motors with integrated electronics, allowing precise speed modulation based on real-time heat loads. Compared to traditional AC fans, EC fans consume up to 40% less electrical power, generate less motor heat, and feature soft-start capabilities that prolong equipment lifespan.
5. What is N+1 thermal redundancy and why is it essential for data center SLA compliance?
N+1 thermal redundancy means installing one additional PAC unit beyond the baseline cooling requirement (N). If 4 PAC units are required to cool a server room, 5 units are deployed (4+1). If one PAC unit fails or undergoes scheduled maintenance, the remaining units instantly ramp up EC fan speeds to maintain uninterrupted cooling SLA.
